I enjoy supporting local black-owned businesses especially eateries but didn’t have the best 1st experience. I came on a Sunday afternoon —very busy. I found out later that there was some type of emergency 🚨 ‼️ in the kitchen 👨🏾🍳. Everything was delayed but no communication of such event was relayed to myself as a patron. Wanted to use the restroom while I waited 🚻 but the toilet 🚽 was overflowing. Water was everywhere and I unfortunately stepped in it! Someone went to get the caution ⚠️ sign thankfully. Wanted to try a pork chop plate but was told 1). That they ran out and 2). A fried piece chop was not an option to order. I understand it wasn’t offered. While I was waiting for some moments inside the owner did come out to greet everyone waiting. Very friendly and apologetic and genuine. Everything can’t be controlled. Definitely recommend a more structured waiting area. The photo op present was beautiful 📸 . 💜 💟 Parking is limited 🅿️. It’s a free lot but in an area where a lot of other businesses are located. I was a bit overstimulated with the music and dancing and excess people inside but once I did receive my order it was worth the wait. 🍽️ I picked up my order through the drive through. Can’t deny good food! My fish was fried perfectly along with my mac n cheese and potatoes. Cornbread muffin wasn’t for me. Even reheated twice, my meal tasted just the same as initially ordered. 😋 Blue koolaid does need improvement but overall I would recommend arriving with a reservation right upon opening or setting ample time aside to wait for your placed order. There are also other food businesses offered inside: hot dog 🌭 and dessert 🧁 vendors.

everything was so incredibly amazing!! it was hot and fresh and the atmosphere plus service were warm and welcoming. it’s such a nice place for the perfect comfort meal and i will be back!

Had a great time and food was good. Service is 10/10 everyone is nice and friendly. I loved the cabbage/greens blend, Mac and cheese, fried chicken and waffles. Wasn’t a big fan of the fried fish. Will definitely return and highly recommend. Also recommend making a reservation.

The food was excellent and the service was beyond excellent. My server Kendall was the best. Very professional and accommodating. I am from Arkansas and it reminded me of great southern food. I will definitely be back every time in the area.

Today I ordered food through DoorDash from Aunt Bill’s, and unfortunately my order was incorrect when it arrived. I called the restaurant, and they asked me to bring the food back so they could fix it.
When I arrived, I was helped by Amanda, and she completely turned the experience around. She was pleasant, helpful, and incredibly sweet. Her positive attitude and genuine care made me feel so much better about the situation. Amanda handled everything with professionalism and kindness, and her dedication to customer service truly stood out.

Ate there for the first time today. Wings, yams and fish was amazing. Real soul food for sure. You won't be disappointed.
